Working out this summer…

… I really really wanted to do crossfit, especially after seeing all of the fitspos and pictures boosting it. But I talked to my trainer and he said that, for me, it woudn’t be a great idea because it consists of a lower weight with max reps as opposed to a max weight with a limited amount of reps which is what we’ve been doinf all year. The problem with doing crossfit is that it builds muscle endurance… As a volleyball player, I don’t want endurance, I want explosiveness for maximum jumping ability. So I can definetly try it out.. But I can’t make a habit out of it, and that’s fine with me because I’ll have a customized workout plan for the summer and I want to do a lot of yoga as well, so I’ll be busy with that! :)
